Living in a industrial city could be really annoying sometimes. You can hardly feel the nature, like how the flowers bloom and wither with season, or how the animals live and multiply. I'm not lucky enough to live somewhere surrounded by nature, so I made this project simply for fun.

In this project, I explored to put in some mid-century oriental elements. I found many references such as art works by Yumeji Takehisa(竹久夢二), Kiyoshi Saito(斎藤清), or patterns printed in towels and matchboxes, and even some ukiyoe masterpieces. It's a real fun to learn from those genius artists, while I can draw my beloved things, too!
